Liz Tatam's Canalside Pottery

Liz by bridge

Liz Tatam trained in Cambridge under John Slade. Her stoneware pots are almost all functional – even the calligraphic wall plaques can be used as serving dishes. For glazes she prefers the ‘natural’ look and often uses ash glazes made from garden bonfires. She has a canalside pottery studio in Ambergate from where she throws, glazes and fires her pots and will undertake commissions. The studio is also open by appointment (01773 852009). If you are interested in purchasing or commissioning pots for postal dispatch, please contact me.

Cromford Wharf

A small selection of my pots are on display, for sale, at the Friends of Cromford Canal (Birdswood trip boat) shop in the Gothic Warehouse at Cromford Wharf. More details here.
